Once you have purchased the basic applications from the store, you can install them using the Port Manager (System — Administration — Port Management).
In the above screen shot, we see an example of a Banking script installed on port 2, which is currently On, with no Firewall, at 100% health, and which is also a Dummy port.
-
To install a script: Right-click on the port under the heading Type and select a script to install.
-
To install a firewall: Right click on the port under the heading Firewall and select a firewall to install.
-
To turn ports On or Off: Click the red or green icon next to the port number (green ports are On, red are Off).
-
The CPU cost is the effect that running the script has on the CPU.
-
Notes: You may enter a note in the text box, which is saved by clicking the save icon next to it (highlighted in blue).
-
Health: A port may be healed (this costs money) by right-clicking on the port health (highlighted in purple).
-
Click the icons under “Default” or “Dummy” to designate a port as such (highlighted in gray and yellow). A “Default” port is that which will be used if another port is not specified (during an Attack or a Bank transaction). A “Dummy” port will appear in the result when an opponent scans your system, but will not allow the attacker to commit any malicious act against you.
