So apparently, someone bought my health watch script that writes IPs to a file and... it said that "countLines() is a member function" which means, I'm assuming, you have to pay for File I/O to use compiled scripts as well. I believe this should definitely be changed. Those who cannot pay for File I/O should be able to buy file i/o scripts from other players in the game. I thought it was supposed to be this way to begin with... Am I mistaken?
Good...
It's $5, not much but, added up, it will help the developers. Why would they create an item that's not suppose to affect gameplay (maybe a TINY bit with the inability to delete/edit logs), which they SELL but, once sold, anyone can use it, even if they didn't pay up. Pretty pointless.
I know we had a debate/discussion about it in the game chat but, I will re-state my comment: It was not created to be a marketable in-game resource.
If you want to make some real money, level up to get the advanced scripting functions. File I/O usage should be limited to those who paid and it wouldn't make sense for the developers to change this fact.
With File I/O, another way you can make "residual" money, is by continuing what you're doing with your site (for poetry if I'm not mistaken) which, to me, is an awesome idea. In doing so, I can almost guarantee that you will get quite a few votes for your site. Votes = HTTP experience. High HTTP levels = more daily income.

Hmm. There should be a
Hmm. There should be a message that pops up and warns you when you're buying a file that contains File IO. It'd suck to buy a $100k script (maybe a moron is selling one, who knows), and have it not work.
