Hi.
Webpage:
line1<?tag1?>line3
HTTP Script (Enter):
replaceContent("tag1","contentOfLine2");
is not working for me.
Can someone confirm please.
I tried a lot more, but nothing worked (i made forms and put the line into Submit, i messaged me after doing the replace - yes the message arrived. i put blanks in front and behind of tag1 and a lot more)
The only thing i can think of is, i dont have FileIO, but from the manual i don't need it.
I have enough HTTP (43), compiled and installed on a http default port.
Missing something?
Isn't it supposed to bo <?tag1?> in the replaceContent(); function?
Keep your head down, your ears open, and your connections encrypted.
Good Luck

Hey, do you mind posting your whole HTTP code -- is that pseudo code?
Just the bare code
Hi.
I stripped down everything to this 3 liner on the webpage and a one liner in coding.
Its nothing more.
Hmm
well I do know that replaceContent() works with file I/O.
Not sure, but maybe because of the linking of replace and File I/O functionality, it is causing using it without file I/O to not work in just plain http replace.
I do not know for sure, just an idea to throw out :P
Alright, it's just that
Alright, it's just that replaceContent() only worked with File IO, I will change this in the next update.
Thank you for the Support
I just want to thank ABlueJelly and turnedtodust for your help to track that problem down.
And Johnny_Heart for all his hard work on the game.
