Definitely a problem with Hacktendo timestamps

I think you guys really need to look into this. And it's definitely not my code that's the problem.

Yesterday night: I am working on a game on Hacktendo for a while. Everything's good, the sprite is moving around, the timestamps are working, I'm happy.

This morning: I log on, thinking of working on some more stuff and... my sprite isn't moving. I take out all the timestamp-checking and the sprite moves. So I now know there's something fishy going on with the timestamps.

A few hours later: I log on to check if the timestamps are still not working, and find that they are working perfectly fine once again.

5 minutes ago: Timestamps not working.

All this while I know the script works perfectly fine. I'll post it if you want me to, but I don't think it's necessary.

P.S: I just tried playing Johnny's game and the ship will not move at all. Hackanoid doesn't work either, but it seems to have a weirder problem (the ball passes right through the blocks and the bar-thingy that you move around).

So there you have it. Timestamps are sporadically broken. Oh, and drawLine doesn't work (though I got around that with drawText("_________")

On another note, it seems the

On another note, it seems the substr() function doesn't work in Hacktendo. Which is annoying, since I have to wrap this text manually now...

The Timestamps Messed up?

Hm. Thats bad. I noticed yesterday when I was working on my website the timestamps were messed up. When you held down the arrow or Backspace key it would do more then it should.

When I was making links I get rid of the old id and link text. I used backspace held it down. When the whole id was gone I let go. Know what, it kept going and mess up the whole links. Had to redo it (not that it was a big deal).

The timestamps are messed up. At least then it was then. They are just probably just mess the script up when adding stuff, or the game is lagging. But it will not be like that forever. That is weird, we will have to deal with it.

Also when trying to get to part of a link or something I would hold down the arrow hey and it will keep going even after I let go of the key. It got really annoying, but I got what I was was doing done. So that was good. It did get a bit difficult. You would understand if you had that problem. Just got to deal with it.

-sigh-

Are you schizophrenic? " We will have to deal with it "

This is a Post in Reference to Hacktendo, As usual You post a complete farse in someone else's topic.

You will not deal with anything, As far as I have come to know, You are not part of the Development Team.
The only thing you have been a part of, Is greatly annoying a few people and earning yourself some
of the worst enemies to have.

Holding down your key and 'having it do more than it should' Is not a matter of Timestamps. You can have UI
Lag which causes that, But it is not affected by 'timestamps'.

I understand that you may not be 'Old' like some of us players are, But please, you do have to use your brain once and a while.

wow....

ShadowPhang, i have seen you kind come and go. and from what i have read you will be going soon enough. use some common seance and think b4 you post.

Woah

Guys, calm down!

a) It's a beta, we're all part of the team in a way.

b) How's a guy to learn when every time he makes a mistake everyone calls him an idiot? Be patient, point out precisely where he was wrong, then answer his question anyway. It's far more effective and keeps your own blood pressure down. Believe it or not, insulting someone is often more damaging to your own happiness than to theirs.

c) Forgetting about the Phang for a second, posts like this on the forums will make newbies scared of asking questions, which will make them leave, which will make the game suck. We're all in this together, guys.
