Hi all,
I wrote myself an attack script with this in the 'finalize' section:
int main(){
deleteLogs(getSourceIP());
showChoices();
}
The deleteLogs() works fine, and the choices box also shows, but no matter what i select in the choices box, nothing happens, can't empty cash, view code or anything, it just acts like i pressed cancel.
Is this normal or is there a bug? If it's normal then that somewhat defeats the object of deleting the logs doesn't it, i mean, whats the point of even attacking if you get nothing out of it :) (except exp ofcourse)
Thanks, and great site/game!
HW is designed that only one
HW is designed that only one finalizer works per attack.
by design showChoices() (or deleteLogs()) should have been skipped completly.
Either you add some logic into your code when to delete and when to finalize with showChoices or you compile and install them as two different attacks.
deleting logs is the last attack of a series of attacks. but be warned: deleteLogs() only deletes the log file. which is one of many place to write a log to.
Ah i undertstand it now,
Ah i undertstand it now, thanks silverlight :)
My original intention was to write an all-purpose script, thats finaliser depends on the type of port it is being used to attack, like empty cash if attacking bank port and cash > 100, but then i saw you can't use the stealfile till attack lvl 70!!! and checkpettycash until level 60 (not as far but still a long way from 50 lol). Oh well, i suppose running duel-port attacks will have to suffice for the moment xD
Thanks again silverlight.
Some people just don't get the point, until you napalm them!
