I read that hack wars is now open source? Where can we get the source code? Or is it not really open source as much as they are willing to let you be a developer more easily now?

okay, so now i'm really confused. now that i downloaded the source, i discovered that it is visual basic! So the game is written in vb.net, yet it compiles to java? how does that work?!

Okay, I found out where the java was hidden. Incase anyone else has problems finding it, just read the README. This one is actually usefull. My next problem is, while trying to access the SVN repository, it requests a username and password. Do you need one?
The Source
Here is where to go to get the source code: https://hackwarsengine.svn.sourceforge.net/svnroot/hackwarsengine

hmm
it shouldn't need a username and password ... but how exactly were you trying to access it (in what context)?
