Any chance of removing the ability to whisper players you've ignored? Things like this:
[12:24:28 AM] 1equals1--: faggot
out of the blue from a player who made it pretty clear they have no interest in speaking to me(just whining AT me, apparently) gets old after a week or so. Either ignore people or don't, this childish "LALALALA CAN'T HEAR YOU" gig is lame.
Yeah, yeah, I know I can set people on ignore too to eliminate this, but I'm not a huge fan of ignoring people - it's awfully rude, don't you think?
Amen

i do!
and not to note the fact that you can't reconsider and unignore (or have that been fixed?)
and hi dex long time since i heard from you.

You can now unignore people. The /ignore command has been turned into a toggle command (like the /stfu command). You should now be able to unignore people you have ignored. The only problem that I've heard of is that people still can't unignore someone that they added to a group when they ignored them.

According to the code(!) the /ignore command IS the /stfu command - which can only be used by a mod. For others it will simply ignore the command.
It is confusing - even for mods...
I hope we can change that in a few days.
For now:
Ignoring a player can be done by using the dialog or the chat command
/AI playername
and he can be unignored by using
/AF playername
keep in mind that the latter command means "Add [to] Friend[list]".
That isn't a working feature in HW but one of its side effects is that it will unignore the player.
Keep in mind:
This is how it currently works. In the future the chatcommands might be renamed to avoid that confusion and give a proper way to unignore someone.
If you ignore a player then you will not see what he says. Can be confusing in chat sometimes.
That player cannot send you a whisper.

I'm delighted unignore works now, but it has nothing to do with my post.

Nice example :)
