Chat in Hackwars glitched

Rarely not every channel is loaded when you log in. The easiest solution is to relogin until it works. Usually it takes only one relogin.

Sometimes one drops out of chat ( but not necessarily out of the game - two different servers handle that ) and unfortunately there is no immediate indication. When you don't see your own typing in a channel then the easiest solution is... relogin. But save your unsaved work first.

Ignoring somebody should not be the reason of this. As I said before it is more probable that you simply dropped out. As far as I know there is no working unignore besides one. All in all just a few annoyances. Nothing of it is a serious glitch.

A dev came on and said I may of ignored myself, and that the only person that could fix it is a dev. So now im waiting for one to fix my account.

I experienced something similar once, however the culprit in my case was the fact that I had accidentally friended myself. Doing that will somehow break chat, so I imagine it is the same case with ignoring yourself.

Is there any fixes that you can do yourself?

I don't believe so. You'll need to wait for a dev to fix your save file for you.
