You install applications using the Port Manager (System — Administration — Port Management).

Installing an Application

Right-click on the port in the Type column and select an application to install.

Installing a Firewall

Right click on the port under the heading Firewall and select a firewall to install.

Turning ports On/Off

Click the red or green icon next to the port number to switch it. Green ports are On, red ports are Off).

CPU Cost

The CPU cost is the effect that running the application has on the CPU.

Notes

You may enter a note in the text box, which is saved by clicking the save icon next to it.

Health

A port may be healed (this costs money) by right-clicking on the port health.

Default Ports

A “Default” port is that which will be used if another port is not specified (during an Attack or a Bank transaction).

Dummy Ports

A “Dummy” port will appear in the result when an opponent scans your system, but will not allow the attacker to commit any malicious act against you.

However you can still leech from dummied redirect ports[1]. This is probably not intended.
